PB&J: A Love Story

Earlier this year we participated in the Indie I Do Wedding Show at Heritage Hall. One of the brides who attended the show emailed us afterwards to let us know she liked our PB&J invitation, as her and her fiancé go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Here’s a little about their story…

Ren & Ray originally met at a party when they were 16 but did not end up getting together until about 10 years later, even though they lived right down the street from one another.

About two and a half years ago Ray was in a terrible car accident and a lot of their time since then was spent in and out of hospitals.  They were originally supposed to get married 2 years ago in October, but their wedding had to be cancelled because of more surgeries that Ray had to go through.

They spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital, and because of their exposure to a lot of bad hospital food, peanut butter and jam sandwiches became a staple for them at the time.  Now when they’re at home and want a peanut butter & jam sandwich, they ask for “hospital snacks”.

Ray has been making some progress with his recovery and they are planning on getting married in October.  We were very touched by their story and the struggles that they have been through, and if there are any vendors out there that would be gracious enough to help out Ren & Ray and provide their services at no cost, contact us at info[at]sgreencards.com and we’ll put you in touch with them.
